Muslim and At-Tirmidhi also recorded it. (175. Save Salamah bin Hisham. The meaning of Allah’s statement. (What disease is more serious than being stingy) He also said. `Isa was of red complexion and had curly hair and a broad chest. So I said, `Woe to you! Wa lahadainaahum Siraatam mustaqeemaa Ayat 68. In the Hadith that An-Nawwas bin Sam`an narrated. Similarly, Allah said. (Each one of the two gets a sixth; but if more than two, they share in a third.) Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah, and those who disbelieve fight in the cause of Taghut. Allah said. (and he who does this, seeking the good pleasure of Allah,) with sincerity and awaiting the reward with Allah, the Exalted and Most Honored. (nor to those): the Jews.” Ibn Jarir recorded that Ibn `Umar said that the Prophet said. You will find others that wish to have security from you and security from their people. For the wrongdoing of the Jews, We made unlawful for them certain good foods which had been lawful for them?and for their hindering many from Allah’s way;) (161. You are not permitted to inherit women against their will).”, Women Should not Be Treated with Harshness. )”’ Another Reason In his Tafsir, Al-Hafiz Abu Ishaq Ibrahim bin `Abdur-Rahman bin Ibrahim bin Duhaym recorded that Damrah narrated that two men took their dispute to the Prophet , and he gave a judgment to the benefit of whoever among them had the right. that He has sent you. The king became angry and wrote to his deputy in Jerusalem to arrest the rebel leader, stop him from causing unrest, crucify him and make him wear a crown of thorns. (And do not kill yourselves.) (Verily, as for those whom the angels take (in death) while they are wronging themselves).” Ad-Dahhak stated that this Ayah was revealed about some hypocrites who did not join the Messenger of Allah but remained in Makkah and went out with the idolators for the battle of Badr. (When the Jews greet you, one of them would say, `As-Samu `Alayka (death be unto you).’ Therefore, say, `Wa `Alayka (and the same to you).’) In his Sahih, Muslim recorded that Abu Hurayrah said that the Messenger of Allah said. However, it is better to refrain from marrying slave girls and to observe patience, for otherwise, the offspring will become slaves to the girl’s master. ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَضْلُ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ عَلِيمًا. Surah Al Anfal 9. لَّعَنَهُ ٱللَّهُ ۘ وَقَالَ لَأَتَّخِذَنَّ مِنْ عِبَادِكَ نَصِيبًا مَّفْرُوضًا. ), (And she who guarded her chastity, We breathed into her (garment) and We made her and her son ﴿`Isa﴾ a sign for all that exits.) Muslim recorded that `Abdullah bin `Amr said that the Messenger of Allah said. ٱلَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ وَيَأْمُرُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ بِٱلْبُخْلِ وَيَكْتُمُونَ مَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ ۗ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ عَذَابًا مُّهِينًا, Allazeena yabkhaloona wa yaamuroonan naasa bilbukhli wa yaktumoona maaa aataahu mullaahu min fadlih; wa a’tadnaa lilkaafireena ‘azaabam muheenaa Ayat 37. Who are stingy and enjoin upon [other] people stinginess and conceal what Allah has given them of His bounty – and We have prepared for the disbelievers a humiliating punishment –, وَٱلَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَٰلَهُمْ رِئَآءَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَلَا بِٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْءَاخِرِ ۗ وَمَن يَكُنِ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ لَهُۥ قَرِينًا فَسَآءَ قَرِينًا. men and women ? (4:6) Test the orphans until they reach the age of marriage, 9 and then if you find them mature of mind hand over to them their property, 10 and do not eat it up by either spending extravagantly or in haste, fearing that they would grow up (and claim it). Everyone has an appointed time, and a limited term of life. is similar to His statement. Ath-Thawri said that Ibn Abi Najih narrated from Mujahid that implementing this Ayah, “Is required from those who have anything to inherit, paid from whatever portions their hearts are satisfied with giving away.” Similar explanation was reported from Ibn Mas`ud, Abu Musa, `Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Bakr, Abu Al-`Aliyah, Ash-Sha`bi and Al-Hasan. (And for their covenant, We raised over them the mount,) This was when they refrained from implementing the rulings of the Tawrah and refused what Musa brought them from Allah. refers to provision. Here, Allah states. (Verily, joining others in worship with Allah is a great Zulm (wrong) indeed.) And this is the case with every threat that is issued for every sin. (Wheresoever you may be, death will overtake you even if you are in fortresses built up strong and high!) Wa izaa darabtum fil ardi falaisa ‘alaikum junaahun an taqsuroo minas Salaati in khiftum ai yaftinakumul lazeena kafarooo; innal kaafireena kaanoo lakum aduwwam mubeenaa Ayat 101. ), Allah Wrongs Not Even the Weight of a Speck of Dust. (But if you intend to replace a wife by another and you have given one of them a Qintar, take not the least bit of it back; would you take it wrongfully without a right and (with) a manifest sin) The Ayah commands: When one of you wants to divorce a wife and marry another one, he must not take any portion of the dowry he gave to the first wife, even if it were a Qintar of money. The knowledge of Al-Fara’id is derived from these three Ayat and from the Hadiths on this subject which explain them. Allah’s statement. (Will be admitted to Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise), to abide therein, and is the great success. As Allah said. The Christians exaggerated over `Isa until they elevated him above the grade that Allah gave him. (Not equal are those of the believers who sit (at home),) this is general. So he likes (for material gain) to marry her himself, and hates to marry her to another man who would have a share in his money, on account of her share in his money. In the Most High Company) three times, and he then died, may Allah’s best blessings be upon him. The Two Sahihs record that the Messenger of Allah said three times to the spouses who said the Mula`anah; (Allah knows that one of you is a liar, so would any of you repent ) The man said, “O Messenger of Allah! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger, and those of you who are in authority. Allah’s statement. He is never asked about what He does due to His might, ability, fairness, wisdom, compassion and mercy. (And verily, We have recommended to the People of the Scripture before you, and to you) meaning, We have recommended to you what We recommended to the People of Scriptures; Taqwa of Allah, by worshipping Him Alone without partners. He threw sand on them and said to them. But (He lets you fight) in order to test some of you with others) (47:4). )” Ahmad mentioned this short narration for this Hadith, Muslim recorded a longer form of it. Allah’s statement. أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّهُمْ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ مِن قَبْلِكَ يُرِيدُونَ أَن يَتَحَاكَمُوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱلطَّٰغُوتِ وَقَدْ أُمِرُوٓا۟ أَن يَكْفُرُوا۟ بِهِۦ وَيُرِيدُ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ أَن يُضِلَّهُمْ ضَلَٰلًۢا بَعِيدًا. i. (save him who orders Sadaqah (charity), or goodness, or reconciliation between mankind;) meaning, except for this type of talk. Wa inimra atun khaafat mim ba’lihaa nushoozan aw i’raadan falaa junaaha ‘alaihi maaa ai yuslihaa bainahumaa sulhaa; wassulhu khair; wa uhdiratil anfusush shuhh; wa in tuhsinoo wa tattaqoo fa innal laaha kaana bimaa ta’maloona Khabeeraa Ayat 128. We will mention this Hadith again using the chain of narration collected by Ahmad explaining Allah’s statement in Surat Al-Anbiya’ (chapter 21). Surely, Shaytan deceitfully promises his supporters and tempts them into believing that they are winners in this and the Hereafter. Allah has preferred in grades those who strive hard and fight with their wealth and their lives above those who sit (at home). meaning, one who is proud and arrogant, insolent and boasts to others. And ever has the favor of Allah upon you been great. And it has already come down to you in the Book that when you hear the verses of Allah [recited], they are denied [by them] and ridiculed; so do not sit with them until they enter into another conversation. حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْكُمْ أُمَّهَٰتُكُمْ وَبَنَاتُكُمْ وَأَخَوَٰتُكُمْ وَعَمَّٰتُكُمْ وَخَٰلَٰتُكُمْ وَبَنَاتُ ٱلْأَخِ وَبَنَاتُ ٱلْأُخْتِ وَأُمَّهَٰتُكُمُ ٱلَّٰتِىٓ أَرْضَعْنَكُمْ وَأَخَوَٰتُكُم مِّنَ ٱلرَّضَٰعَةِ وَأُمَّهَٰتُ نِسَآئِكُمْ وَرَبَٰٓئِبُكُمُ ٱلَّٰتِى فِى حُجُورِكُم مِّن نِّسَآئِكُمُ ٱلَّٰتِى دَخَلْتُم بِهِنَّ فَإِن لَّمْ تَكُونُوا۟ دَخَلْتُم بِهِنَّ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَحَلَٰٓئِلُ أَبْنَآئِكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِنْ أَصْلَٰبِكُمْ وَأَن تَجْمَعُوا۟ بَيْنَ ٱلْأُخْتَيْنِ إِلَّا مَا قَدْ سَلَفَ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا. Allah said. Collectors of the Sahih, Sunan and Musnad collections recorded this in a Hadith from Jabir. (And those who believe in Allah and His Messengers and make no distinction between any of them,) This refers to the Ummah of Muhammad who believe in every Book that Allah has revealed and in every Prophet whom Allah has sent.
